Likes

Skylab facility is good which spacious and have good environment.
Internet facility inside the campus and server.
Library is good having variety of books.

Dislikes

Campus is short. The campus has only 3 gate and area is about 17 acres
Sport facility is there but utilisation is not done properly.
Parking space is not big which makes the it difficult to park the device.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was my personal choice to pursue the course. The faculty-student ratio is 1:15 and it is very good. Facilities are all PhD holders. Exams are a bit difficult in this autonomous college but anyone can pass if they study

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were 150000 during my admission into the college now it is increased to 175000. There are various scholarships available in the course anyone chooses. Odisha govt. has a variety of scholarship schemes which help the students to support financial.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called Zygom which is conducted every year with the massive sponsor from outside and support from the students and faculties. The tech fest is known as Noesis and Nirman. The entrepreneur fest is called efest.

Eligibility 10th and 12th marks are required for admission into this The application form is free of cost No reservations benefit Fees and other detail will be clearly visible to others. OBC SC ST is given some benefits.

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

NOT AN IDEAL COLLEGE BUT DEFINITELY DESCENT

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.
