Remarks
Everything is just awesome. Just 1 thing i would like to change is reduce the lecture attendance to 50% instead of 80%. Its too high and we find less time to enjoy college life. Though overall i miss this life and college very much.
Entrance Preview
No entrance needed. Only well known name and my senior recommendations, this is one of the best college for BFM and hence since my interest of field, i went for it.
Course Curriculum Overview
The structure of the course was as per the Mumbai university. The whole syllabus was too worth as it provides fundamental insight of the keen market, stocks, investments, etc and as a whole a great learning experience. It could have been better if a live trial type stock market and other demos would be have been created for students hand on .
Internships Opportunities
No, there is no such internship program for freshers and specially for self finance courses, not at all. Still we are able to find one for our self as we have been nurtured with too much knowledge that we can start with it.
Placement Experience
Too good job opportunities foreseen once you are out of the college. But being a too demanding field, the number of job applicants are also higher and hence the job demand has many inputs, so you need to be unique in yourself to be selected for a job
College Events
Talent is the place where its counted in this college. Events vary form cultural to sports, literacy,etc. Special events for girls as well like mehndi competition ,drawing ,etc. Everything goes hand in hand through out the year. Still a great participation from all irrespective of the pressure of studies
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its feasible But if the government supports it as it does in aided courses, it would have been the best. The fees for self financed courses are higher than the aided courses, but its manageable when your future comes to picture. So its an investment made for the bright future.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, there is no such award program executed by the college trust and if any i might dont know as self financed courses are not for all. We need to pay high price our selfs for the courses
Campus Life
Gender ratio is like you will find more girls than boys in college. A great infrastructure, nearby malls and other colleges. Life is awesome. 80% attendance rule is too great. this makes us to go to college just for fun as malls are nearby so as theater is.
Hostel Facilities
The food in the mess is very tasty and reasonable. though i was a local person, i was not part of hostel so not quite aware if any such hostel is available or not. Specially the outside eateries are also good. Canteen provides all sort of snacks and junk food
Alumni/Alumna
I was connected to seniors as part of many event organizations and notes and knowledge sharing sessions, but thats ok. They too are busy with their life,so cant expect them to be cooperative.
Exam Structure
the exam pattern follows the same for all the self finance courses, Semesters every 4 months and total 6 semesters in 3 years makes you nurtured. The same ATKT rule followed throughout. Just keep the marks high to be ever demanding in the job industry.
Admission
Based on my 12th Commerce score and my junior college being same, just a simple in quota form submission and fees payment made me enroll to the college. Fees was around 25000 something when i joined the college. Rest the process is simple. Need of photo of self and self attested documents of the rest certificates.
Faculty
Great knowledgeable faculties. The learning was too good. They were ever open to doubts and clearing them during the college hour. I would personally approach the faculties to get the doubts cleared ,as i was not that attentive in lectures. Still a great learning experience
