Entrance Preview
I gave CAT and scored 74 percentile. As I mentioned the experience here is quite unique the focus is entrepreneurship so instead of jobs they help you to get your startup funding and just this sentence made me opt for this collage
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is really focused on entrepreneurship development it is all about what you are able to identify as a problem and they help you do that and also to come up with the best solution possible for it. The subjects are some core management topics and some unique entrepreneurship subjects.
Internships Opportunities
The collage provides internship after the first year of college that is a span before starting second year that you must get on ground experience so I've not done it yet as I'm in first year so no experience but the stipend is not something that we as students look for.
Placement Experience
No placements or jobs are promoted but they do bring companies for this and students give interviews for jobs and mostly experience thats it. Entrepreneurship is the heart of the institution so after teaching that for 2 years they don't expect you doing job they expect you to create jobs.
College Events
Extacy - for all cultural events like navratri named jhankar and concerts etc Empresario - a big bang startup event The institute is a government institution so there is a lot of foreign exposure And there is a huge diversity also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very feasible every semester you have to pay 100000+ according to your accommodation adjustments. So overall it goes 500000+ for 2 years as its a trimester pattern
Campus Life
There is a huge diversity in the crowd so a great learning and overall the crowd is good. Mostly people are from business families as they have a backup and experience in the field of entrepreneurship. The sports are literally fantastic and every sport is available except swimming.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are excellent an A/c room of single or double occupancy and a attached bathroom along with maids who clean the room and bathroom so its all nice. The food is apparently tasty for initial few months then it gets boring but being in ahmdabad we have a huge array of options to order or have food from.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a Alumni cell that works well and is very helpful apart from that we have some successful entrepreneurs coming and sharing their stories that is interesting and helpful, and the senior students are always helping plus at times in need of help for their projects so is a great environment.
Exam Structure
There are presentations carrying 10% midterm exams carring 30% end term exams carrying 60% weightage, but the philosophy students have in a entrepreneurship institution is marks is just a number but the institute has kept a gold medal
Admission
The admission process started with online form filling after your CAT scores come then you have to give the Collage's personal multiple choice questions test then theres a group discussion and then a personal interview.
Faculty
The faculty is highly qualified and experienced. You can get a faculty from each domain so that you can discuss your ideas with a domain expert and they will help you out with it in all best possible ways, the subject teaches are some real experts in their fields and would connect the topics in real time business situations.
