Other states should follow the example of Gujarat and set up institutions like EDI.

Entrance Preview

You have to pass the CAT to be eligible. I think the institute accepts other management exams also. After applying, if you are selected, then there are some more tests to be passed.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very well designed. The execution is a bit lacking in effectiveness. The college prepares you for all the nitty gritty of starting a business. Rest everything is dependent on us whether we have the right idea and willingness to start a business.

Campus is designed like IIM Ahmedabad. Campus has a very good environment. You will like to study here. Great faculty and campus life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is kept very contemporary and competitive with premier business schools. Although certain subjects are given less or more time comapred to other B schools. Interdisciplinary learning is prioritized and students can choose a variety of courses from the university including engineering, science and arts courses. The curriculum also includes "lab" subjects which are mostly based on improving the skillsets needed for management roles.

MICA: Not your average b-school

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college is quite decent, considering the job market and niche profiles that come on campus. It's not like a 'mecca of marketing', but a mix of various roles including Sales, Marketing, General Management, Product Management, Branding, Strategy, Consultancy etc. The placements are carried out by Placements Committee who work with utmost dedication and honestly. All top companies across sectors come on campus to recruit, for both Summer Internships and Final Placements. 100% Placements are guaranteed here, while the highest package goes upto 40LPA, median is 19LPA and average is 18LPA, approximately. The reports published online are true in nature and aren't inflated unlike other schools.

Here the placement are provided by the CDC, the career development centre and the placements here are on an average good and the support provided by the placement team is also good. Here. You can apply for the finance and for the marketing, but as well as the HR is concerned. You can also look for some other colleges because here companies are not very much concerned for HR.

A good campus with balance, academic and activities
