- Clubs and Social Life and the students and the seniors being very friendly
- Placements is one thing which attracted me the most. As the average package is 6 LPA so I could have a good job after my graduation.
Dislikes
- The campus is very small. When I look at campus of Pune colleges, I feel our campus is very small.
- There is no facility for students who cannot pay fees and are in Open category. There is assistance for students having Caste.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the CSE course to pursue Software Engineering. The faculty is quite nice and well-versed in all their respective subjects. All the Faculty hold P.Hd degrees with a specialization in Computer Science. They teach in a very good manner so that students don't have any doubts. If any doubt arises then teachers help to clear them. Term Exams are once a month or twice in 3 months.
Internships Opportunities
All the companies who visit campus for placements, also give Internship opportunities as PRE PLACEMENT OFFER. Now, the projects and mini-projects are very helpful in gaining knowledge of our course and the Faculty helps us in having the Project.
Placement Experience
Students can apply for Internships from the 5th or 6th Semester. There are a bunch of companies who visit our college for Placement purpose every year and they help more than 100 students to get placed in their companies. TCS, Infosys, Capgemini are the companies that visit our campus. Highest package is around 12 LPA and the lowest being 3 LPA. There is a 90% placement guarantee. I would want to start as a SDE 1 at a reputed company after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee is around 1 lakh 10 thousand rupees. But if you opt for EBC then you would need to pay just 65 thousand rupees. And if you fit in the Caste category then you need to pay around 10 thousand and for TFWS students it is 19 thousand rupees. There is no financial assistance from the college itself but they help with Scholarship applications outside the college.
Campus Life
We have an Annual Fest every year. Socials are the name and there are many Clubs of all departments which engages in the betterment of students. And I personally feel very nice that I am a part of my CSE club. Tech Fest is also held in names Tech Symposium. It is conducted in the month of February every year. Books are plenty in the Library. Annual Sports also take place and there are a variety of games and sports in which students can take part.
Admission
I scored 94 percentile in the MHT-CET examination and I wanted admission to a Computer Science course. So I opted for the D.K.T.E institute of Engineering for my further studies. The admission process was smooth and wanted just my CET Percentile above 85%. Everything is available inside the campus and teachers to help if needed.
