Likes

Highly qualified and interactive faculty.
Such a large campus, full of greenery and coffee house at different spots.

Dislikes

Electricity problem is very frequent in campus.
The cost of edible material like coffee, dosa, coke that are available inside campus is very costly

Course Curriculum Overview

I opt this course because I have to go for a PhD. This department has a rich faculty-student ratio. In MTech, each student gets a separate guide which is very helpful. Faculty are highly qualified. Every faculty have PhD degree from a renowned institute in India. exams were conducted as per the schedule and the result are also published on time. A student who studies regularly will never face difficulty in passing exams.

Class Size: 24Course Fees: INR 84000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study is a little on the higher side. But, the fees are as per MHRD rules and regulations. The institute provides a monthly stipend of 12400 rupees which is funded by MHRD. For getting a stipend a student has to do a Teaching Assistantship of 8 hours per week.

Campus Life

Every year an annual fest is organized which is completely founded by the college itself. Big stars from Bollywood or any other renowned field visit institute. Every classroom of the institute has a smart board with cctv camera and high-speed wifi. Sports competition is an integral part of the institute. Different sports both indoor and outdoor like badminton, chess, cricket, football, kabaddi, volleyball, and ball competition occur at regular intervals of time. Manit student associations, MANIT SC and ST cell, and MANIT welfare associations are the different social groups and associations run by students.

Admission

A gate score is a must for taking admission. For applying visit the CCMT website. All India national counselling is conducted for taking admission. I availed OBC NCL reservation. There is no scope for improvement in the admission process and it is well-maintained process.

Placement Experience:

In the placement drives student can be eligible in the last semester of the course and there is no particular company that visit regularly because the college has no tie-ups with the companies but management tries to conduct the placement drives with random companies. who offers a maximum of 180000/year. So every year about 25% students get placed in the placement drives.

Remarks:

Opened six days a week. Students get less time for self-study and other exams preparation. Students preparing for the gate suffer the most. They have to come regularly for attendance and they are left with either of the two choices, first to bunk the college or to bunk the coaching class.

Remarks:

Nit Bhopal is a very reputed college .it was established in 1962 so it is very famous all over India. infrastructure and the teacher are very good .there are many other facilities are available like medical facility etc.and the campus is about 600 acres.in my college there many facilities are available .and the campus is awesome.

I loved the college

According to my jee mains rank, I got confirmed IIIT jabalpur in first round. I wanted the nit tag therefore skipped the above clg and moved to round 2 . Here got NIT Bhopal. Reason I preferred it over other NITs, is due to its E-Cell which is one of the largest in Asia. Admission process includes qualifying jee mains exam. You need to have minimum of 65k rank to get into NIT Bhopal. Admission process was super smooth , got it done in hours during physical reporting...Read More
