Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I wanted to pursue MBA Faculties are average here, they mark students fairly Faculties here were qualified postgraduates and the teaching is good, but behaviour towards absentees is not at all good

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There are not many internship opportunities in college but yes if you go to the market industrial area, they are ready to provide you with internships in Ahmednagar. But my actual experience in college was good.

Placement Experience

4.5

FROM 5TH Semester students become eligible for placement I visited a company at the placement I received 15k My plan is to shift to a Tier 1 city and get a respectable job there so that I can fulfil my and my family's needs.

Fees and Financial Aid

See my first-year fees during COVID was ?1k and now it's 3k so it's a pretty visible hike in my SPPU, My books cost me around? 500 There was no financial assistance for me, but yes college provides scholarships and assistance while taking admission.

Campus Life

4.5

Yes there is an annual fest There is a Library on a whole floor The classroom is pretty basic with a fan and light and ample windows There is NCC in college so don't worry about fitness. There is a football ground and a basketball ground too.

Admission

Not any entrance exam but yes, there was admission list criteria and I got selected in the first round Admission is done offline, I was in a General category and I was happy that I got admission so seamlessly.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.
