Entrance Preview

I took admission in this university because it has beautiful infrastructure, good facilities provided by the university. Faculty members are good in nature and best in teaching.

Placement Experience

4

Placement season is a bit hectic. Everyone tries their best to make sure all the students are placed. The committee has strict rules on the do's and dont's and if someone fails to follow are generally excluded from further opportunities. It was a bit hectic because lot of companies come at the same time during the start of the december and there will be lot of written tests conducted by each company

College Events

3

Cultural Club (Samvardhan) is formed to promote cultural awareness among young generation. This club is a student body which is responsible for all the cultural events in the Institute around the year. This club enhances the skills of dancing, singing, playing musical instruments, play, mimicry and Nukkad Natak.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel life is really good. There is everything that is required and most of the operations and fund management are handled by Students. The lifestyle is quite lovely with people practicing competitively for the inter hall all the time and lot of other events happening. Mess food may not be the best but it is sufficient to survive.

Alumni/Alumna

People from sangam university are everywhere. I have worked with 2-3 people at least in all the companies i worked for. It is good have people from the same background. There will always be lot of mutual friends irrespective of the year of graduation.

Faculty

4

Faculty is above par in terms of knowledge and experience. We did not really had any issue with the faculty at any point of time. They were quite strict about the attendance but that is all for good. They made sure the sessions are interactive and the faculty is quite interested in the Q/A. People used to take the core courses seriously and it was really good learning for all the students.

Placement Experience:

For Master's students, they can start appearing for placement as soon as starting their 2nd Semester. There are lots of opportunities for students to grab a good placement. The average package for Master's can be 6-8LPA while the highest placement last year was 54LPA

Course Curriculum Overview:

- The course curriculum was specifically based on giving more knowledge and insights about the course I chose. I went onto specialization and chose microbiology and learnt that it has various other fields because of the curriculum. - The course and lab prepares well for the real-world applications. - There should have been more hands-on experience with some lab equipments and some teachers should have given more guidance to the students. - Frequency of exams and difficulty level was good. No complaints about that.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement commity is good, there is a dedicated department for campus placement for students depending upon the course you chose if you take Btech, Mtech or MCA its good but if you take M.Sc you have to struggle for placement and even if you get placement you hace to struggle with the package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is updated and is on par with central universities. The curriculum is relevant if you want to make your career in research. More distinct and relevant additional electives could be incorporated into the curriculum as some aren't as relevant as they used to be.
