DAIMSR - The Introduction

I've chosen this course because I think I am good in theory subjects and not good in practical subjects and BBA is more of a theory and less practical. Surely there are various faculties which have expertise in thier subjects and other subjects too. Faculty-student ratio here is 1:30 The Faculties here are very educated and experienced and also have great teaching skills. I've to tell you that the teaching skills of the faculties here are very creative which includes learning through activities, games, actings etc, The Faculties here are more serious and focused on studies rather than any other co-curricular activities. Obviously it is said that if you study hard the exams seem to be easy. The term exams were scheduled on an alternate basis after 2-2 months and it is quiet easy to pass. There are unit tests, assignments, practicals etc.., The studies here are so much fun.

At the end of the second-semester examination, every student of an MBA undergoes on-the-job practical training in an organization. The training is of 8 to 10 weeks duration. During the training, the student is expected to learn about the organization and analyze and suggest solutions to a live problem. During the course of training, the organization (where the student is undergoing training) assigns a problem/project to the student. The student, after the completion of training submits a report to the College/Institute, which forms part of the third-semester examination. Airtel. Axis Bank. Axykno capital. Placements and job opportunities are fine, as not many people like to take the job after BBA because the job that we get is of BPO and so most of them opt for PG. Many huge companies came to the campus for placements like HCL, TCS, and Concentrix. But placements are yet to finalise due to COVID, now companies are hesitating to take new employees and our placements are still hanging out. In the last six years, DAIMSR established a successful relationship with some of the top recruiters. They are frequent visitors at the DAIMSR and recruit the institute's students for various programs. The fees is quite affordable as it is a government college and the fees of those who got reservation benefits is just 450 to 500 and those who are from general/open category has a total fees of 14500 to 15000. Quite good right? Cost to study here is good as compared to another private institutions.

The Annual fest of DAIMSR is called AASMAN and is conducted every year in November but as of now because of the pandemic, it was conducted in January. There are more fest also conducted called AAGAZ, AAKARSHAN, ANAND MELA etc.., The library has more than 24,500 books and more than 65 journals and periodicals. Total of 23478 books on various disciplines of management, commerce and computers are available out of which approximately 7% books are on general areas. A seating capacity of 80 student approximately for all. All of the classrooms are equipped with LCDs, Computer, Whiteboard and personal address system. On the west block also, there are classrooms with an approximate capacity of 80 students. In both blocks, one-third of the classrooms are air-cooled. There are many clubs involving various students like an eco club, media club etc.., There is also an Instagram page of the college which keeps the students updated about the day-to-day activities going on there.

The Average percentage required for getting into DAIMSR is 85% as of this year. Eligibility is purely based on the 10th and 12th percentages and some PI questions asked by the faculties. As it is a government college the competition is a little high. Application form as of now is available online for getting admission. Application fees are to be paid through the college's personal payment method called 'Feepayr', which is actually safe and secured. Moreover, Application dates are informed to the students accordingly. There are surely a number of Reservation benefits but I'm from the general category. The admission process was Smooth and easy but it takes more time as everyone knows that today's time is important so the college should not make the wait for the students for their admission process.
