Course Curriculum Overview

courses of btech are really difficult if a proper faculty is not there. I choose this course due to my low marks in jee. over 70 students one faculty Is it is quite good. they teach nicely and visualize things clearly. over a month we had a quiz and viva.

Placement Experience

the placements at IIT patna are excellent. after getting an internship in 3-year students are eligible for the placements this year our students are getting placed in google, bosch, oracle like companies with 82.05lpa. 80 per cent of students get placement. my plan is to take the placement and enjoy my life with my family after taking my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

it might be around 150k for general 100k for obc and for sc, st 60k. our college provides different types of scholarships for students who can't afford any fees like nsp, Mcm and many other scholarships. generally, the campus average placement is around 12lpa.

Campus Life

campus life is amazing. after entering into it an annual techno-management fest is there whose name is celesta. every Jan it happens. we had a beautiful library also in which almost all the books we had. sports are mandatory in 1 year in this we have cricket, basketball, football etc. In 1 first year, some students had NSS in which they had to do some social work like giving education to children etc which is mandatory for NSS students.

Hostel Facilities

after getting mail through my college they provide us with a double bedroom in which we have an almirah, 2 chairs and a table. the quality of good in IIT patna sometimes in the week may be paratha, panner which is so delicious.

Admission

The admission process to IITs"s is difficult because jee is one of the most difficult exams in INDIA. we can give jee exam with 12 or take a drop At last, all the students got a mail from their college. in the application process, we have to fill in all details like name, father's name, mother's name etc and all the necessary documents and each year cutoff rises or decreases it depends on the paper. yes!! it helps those who belong to the lower category.

The placement of this college is not good at all. The avrage package of this college is around 4-5 Lpa. Because this college is new so the placement is not good here. But Our college is trying their best for getting the good placement to student.

Campus placement was good as I came but it is degrading year to year, this year only 30 percent of ece students are placed, no more company of ece core came here ece and cse get same job as no of students increased in my batch 300 and ece 250 thus in 2027 placement will become worst , Upsc, gate, ssc these are end things

IIT Patna is very best in India. According to NIRF ranking 2025, IIT Patna is ranked 36th in the overall category, and 39th in the research institutes category.
