Course Curriculum Overview

I choose mechanical engineering because it is very interesting and also I am very Curious about the engine and also want known mechanism behind a vehicle etc so I choose this course. Nearly 20 faculties in the mechanical branch. All faculties are completing their Ph.D. in a reputed institute.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

After the 6-semester student becomes eligible for campus placement. Our college brings Companies like TATA, JSW, DALMIA, INDIGO, YOKOHAMA, etc. Nearly 70 percent of students get placed in campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The study fee is 60000 per year and if you staying in a hostel then there are extra fees of 40000 for a hostel. The hostel room is really very nice. The hostel food is very good. Students can applying for scholarships like state scholarships and center scholarships, kalia scholarships, etc.

Our college conducted so many fests like annual functions, start-up fest, etc. Our library has so many book you don't need to buy any books from out side also the library provides a daily newspaper and magazine etc. Every year in the month of November our college conducted our annual sports and athletic also. Our clubs like an entrepreneur club, automobile club, etc.

Admission

The admission process is based on jee main ranking. I find the application form on google. There are no application fees, also no reservation in the admission process. You can study this course after the 12th Or after your diploma. The admission process is very slow try to improve it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

According to recent placement statistics, the highest package offered at the college is around ?9.2 LPA, while the average package is about ?4–4.5 LPA. Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

So overall you will have a nice exposure to tech and industrial space and can grab some decent placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.
