A School

As I'm interested in programming I've chosen this course. The faculty-student ratio is 1:25. Faculty members are not at all experienced in teaching us the subjects. They don't have that knowledge or experience of the curriculum. Most of the faculty members are comfortable in only one domain and when asked to teach other subjects they're no good at all. While some of them just show all the contents through slides using PPT and get over it. There's an end-semester exam for every 5 months divided into 2 semesters. It was difficult to pass as we have to study all by ourselves.

Placement starts in the third year second semester. We get trained by outside companies to shape up for the exam but we're charged extra for placements. The highest Package is from Amazon offering 20lacs pa for the role of SDE & AWS. but the intake of students is 10 from the whole college. Many students are placed in companies like TCS having an average salary of 3.5lacs pa. Around 40% of students are placed last year. I'm planning to study abroad after graduation.

There are 2 different fees structure for students. Those who are joined through the exam, have 55000 tuition fees+25000 joining fees in the first year (additional transport fees, hostel fee if wanted). And the others who are joined by donating their fees are 150000 inclusive of tuition and building fees(additional transport fees, hostel fees if wanted). There's a scholarship only to those students who are joined through the EAPCET exam and have met all the eligibility for scholarships offered by the state.

College hardly organizes any events or fests. They're conducted once a year if we're lucky. Fest is organized differently for each branch which goes for 2 days. There isn't a separate block for Library. It's just a floor in a block for the entire college. The college of books is okay but they're not sufficient. There's a sports club in college and we have got a free time once a week but the participation is poor as there is no proper equipment to play with. We've student clubs run by the final year and faculty members.

To get into the college first we need to write an exam conducted by the state known as EAPCET. As CSE is demanded course thereby its cut-off is High around the rank of <10000 for general and <25000 for reservation. All the details are available on the official website of EAPCET. Reservation is availed for BC caste SC ST minorities sports and PHP.
