Course Curriculum Overview :

I was always interested in design, and I found fashion design fun. The course in this particular college covers a few fine arts also, and also gives dual certificates, one from Bangalore university and one from LISAA France.

Internships Opportunities :

Certificated and paid internships provided in various companies like 3M, Red baton, etc, for up to a month. Product-making projects and craftsmanship are also offered by the college instead of internships, with certificates.

Placement Experience :

I am still in the first year and am not aware of the placement processes. But according to the feedback I have received, 100% of placements are provided, and with well-known companies. There are internships provided as well.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is pretty good compared to the other colleges and there is a scholarship opportunity based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam. The placement and job opportunity is 100% according to the feedback I have received.

Campus Life :

The campus has nothing fancy, but it does provide all the essentials and necessities. It organizes fun field trips and activities often. The campus provides air conditioning facilities. It is fun here.

Admission :

There was an entrance exam that we had to write. Eligibility is more than 60% in 12th. The application form can be found on their website with the fees and dates. Scholarships are provided depending on the scores in the entrance exams.

Placement Experience:

Only one batch has gotten placements from my college as we have only one proper graduating batch. Their placements went okay if I'm not wrong, with some getting placed in companies like nykaa, and ajio. But mostly the placements are not as good as they promise 100% placements but not everyone gets it.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about college placement but for fashion technology average is around 4-5 lakh but if you get a pre-placement offer from an internship company your salary will vary according to that company. Around 90% of students are placed either from college or PPO. They also offer guidance regarding after graduation. They also have a master's program in case you want to pursue that.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after their graduation project in the 8th semester which is the 4th year. A good number of companies around 8-10 come for the campus placements. The minimum package starts from 6 lakhs and can go up to 20 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students get an on campus placement. Some get an off campus placement as well. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters in my field.

From the final year only and many top corporate hire students and gives them prominent roles such as design engineer or product manager. From Isro to Mercedes Benz, many government and private companies have tie ups with PESU who offers jobs to students in numbers. Most design student though go for entrepreneurship so only 60-70% students apply for job and out of which maximum students are placed through campus.

Placement Experience:

After the 8th semester a student becomes eligible for campus placements. Before that we can do internships. Multiple companies visit and the placement rate is about 85%. Even IT companies hire designers. The highest paid designer in our campus had a package of 1.25L and average is 25k. I'm planning on working for a while after my degree and then deciding on whether I want to do masters or not.

Xylem, GEA Group, ABB and other companies are there that gives PES University students the placements. Before launching the course the university made tie-ups with various companies and design engineers at PES University don't have to worry about placements. In all there are two sections and 100 students in all for our course. Hence, the placements are close to one hundred percent. The average salary offered to design students are somewhere around 5 lakhs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Interior design offered quite a few academic aspects which can also be applied in other courses. The curriculum is quite tough as compared to other courses but it being so helps in the real world where the work we have to put in ks quite alot.
