Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose Information technology as I wanted to become a software developer. The faculty-student ratio is 48:1. Each staff handles only one subject for the class. The staffs were quite sufficient for all the classes. Most of the faculty members pursued doctoral degrees and some of them pursued doctoral research. Most faculties use blackboards for teaching concepts, architectural diagrams, solving problems, mathematics, theorems, etc. Faculties use projectors also to explain concepts clearly and for dictating notes. The important thing was that I was able to understand the concepts taught by them and they explain twice for better understanding. There will be monthly exams which happen every month and model exam that happen thrice per semester. The exams were not so difficult to pass cause you will be provided question banks and complete notes will be available in the portal which you can download them. you can also refer to the previous year's question papers from the portal too.

Internships Opportunities

4

I got an internship at Cognizant with a decent stipend. Product IT companies like Zoho and Service IT companies like Cognizant, Infosys and TCS offered internships under the roles of Technical Staff(Zoho), Programmer Analyst Trainee(Cognizant), and Assistant System Engineer Trainee(TCS). It helped me work with real-life projects, company culture, more practical knowledge, etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

From the 6th semester onwards, students can become eligible for the placements. Major IT services companies such as Cognizant, TCS, and Infosys offered 400 offers each. The average package offered by companies is 4.75 lakhs per annum. 9 students got super dream offers above 10 lakhs per annum. Last academic year, the total student strength was 1364 and the total number of offers was 1635(including the same students who got more than one offer (. 95% percent of students got placed. I planned to join an internship and join as a full-time employee.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid around 5 lakhs to complete my study at this college. The fees include tuition fee, food, bus fees, books, and placement training. you have to pay fees yearly and there will be some fees that you have to pay every semester. Yes. you can apply for a scholarship every year, you can get the scholarship form from the college office, fill and submit them. They also do financial assistance. I don't know much about that cause I didn't need those. Yes, I got an offer on-campus interview and I also had an internship with a stipend. There will be plenty of placement opportunities and they will provide all placement-related training.

Campus Life

4

Annual fests: CRYPTRIX', Jet Potential, GENERA, and Jet Mech. You can easily borrow and return/renew anytime. you will be provided with 6 library book cards for that. Classrooms are having windows, desks, projectors, and all the necessary things. Every year sports events will be conducted on all major Olympic sports. our college has all facilities to conduct sport. There are many clubs such as English, Math, Quizzes, Music, Dance, etc. Interested students can join any clubs and do the activities.

Admission

I selected this college through counselling. Based on my cutoff from Plus 2 Exam, I was able to select this college. The admission process was very simple and easy. They just asked about the allotment order which you will get at the end of counselling and explained all the rules and regulations, college timings, food facilities, bus facilities, etc. There was no eligibility for me to choose the course as I already selected my course also during the counselling process. In reception, they'll tell you where the admission process is happening and staff will be there to guide you through the application process, fees, etc. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits.
