Entrance Preview

I secured 83% in class 10th, 86% in class 12th and 79% in graduation. I did BBA from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and wanted to do MBA. I did a lot of research and got to know about this college through a senior in my college. The admission process was easy and management provided all the information on the phone and asked me to come to college in a couple of days with all the documents. In a week, my admission was finalized and I was offered a seat for the programme.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The college takes every aspect of education very seriously. They know that a good course curriculum helps the student gets the appropriate knowledge and gives them the assignments, projects, case studies to solve so that they can learn about the course in very detail. They also give extra credits to some students who have performed very well in these projects and assignments. Attendance rule is very strict for everyone.

Internships Opportunities

A lot of people are very excited about the internship programme because it gives them a platform to apply their learnt skills and experience if they are good or bad at something. They get to involve in all the functions of the management. All my friends changed their specialization after getting over with the internship since they got to know more about the other fields and it changed their interest of specialization.

Alumni/Alumna

Students of the college have three set of people to approach to if they encounter any problem. The first one is the faculties where they will solve the problem at a level where no one else can solve. Another one is the alumni of the college since they have more experience about the way the things work in the college and the third one is their friends. Alumni are the second best option to approach to if faculties aren’t able to help you in a doubt or problem you encounter.

Faculty

3

A course curriculum is only good if the person teaching it is good. The faculties of the college are hired after carefully evaluating them on a lot of parameters. The college has maintained its reputation very highly. The faculties connect with the students at two different levels i.e. at group level and at individual level. Depending on the speed and grasping and understanding capability of the students, the professors teach them at their level.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!
