Experience ( from mine to yours )

I do belong to a family business background but always had been curious to know more about business ethics so I chose a suitable course which is BBA. Touchwood, faculty members are highly educated, and cooperative, and guide us through the course time. BBA is basically a course where you get to bring the best version of yourself. Our faculty members acquired Ph.D., MBAs, and many more. HOD takes care of every department for smooth functioning. During my course time, I had 6 semesters among which four were online. There's a huge difference between online and offline exams. The study pattern is quite difficult but theoretical and practical knowledge must, though it can be understood.

Well, BBA is a three-year course for an undergraduate degree. PAHSU ( punyashlok ahilyadevi holkar Solapur University) has 16000 per year. It has special reservations for the Jain minority. Students do get scholarships based on their background. Universities try their best to help students with financial assistance. During this three-year course, you get to learn a lot of practical knowledge like industrial visits, projects, seminars, etc. Many national and MNC companies approach Universities for campus drives, it is an opportunity to grab it and also offers good packages.

Our college campus has a well-equipped library with lots of journals, papers, articles, books, etc for knowledge. There are many inter-cluster competitions around the year. Where student gets to showcase their hidden talents, like mind heist, udyamdeep, arohi where students and faculty from all departments come together and contribute to the fest. All our classrooms and auditoriums are facilitated as per concerned to students' comfort zone, projectors, blackboards, etc. Also, I would like to add about sports, NCC candidates get to grow through well-trained pt teachers available at college. The BBA department has always been creative with its thoughts and actions. Students run two pages on social media ( official and unofficial). The official page keeps updated about the fests, activities, good deeds, etc whereas the unofficial page serves as a platform for students to come forward and pin / share their idea, opinions, and thoughts.

I completed my junior college with a science background and it was a very difficult choice to make to shift to the commerce side that is BBA. I was keenly interested to learn more about the business field. To get admission for BBA in PAHSU you need to score min 80% and can get a seat through the Jain quota ( Reserved). Application forms are available at the college and faculty will guide you throughout the procedure. I was from the COVID batch where everything was online but now the admission process works smoothly. I would suggest definitely trying the phase if appealing for BBA
