Remarks
HNCC is probably the best management college in the city. The admission process starts right after the board exam results. Online registration is compulsory. The entrance exam is taken for the admission process. Based on marks of the entrance, exam admission is done. Training for the entrance exam is also given in college.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I wanted to study business I choose BBA. The faculty is good here. Almost all faculty members are PhD holders. There are around three professors for every subject. The teaching method is also good. Doubts are cleared whenever asked. Two semesters are taken and two unit tests are taken.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, internship opportunities are available with the college. As I'm a business management student I know about marketing internships. It is available at the electro where you are given knowledge about sales and marketing. A good stipend is also given for the internships.
Placement Experience
As I'm a first-year student I have no idea about the placements in the college. But yeah campus placement is done. Many companies visit colleges for this purpose. Final year bachelor's students after semester exams are eligible for the campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the bachelors is quite affordable in this college. It is around 16000. But there are no scholarships for bachelor's programs. You can get scholarship for MBA or MCom. You need to apply online for the scholarship(EBC) on the official website of the Maharashtra government.
Campus Life
Campus life is pretty peaceful here. Many fests are conducted in the college. Udyamdeep, food festival, annual fest are the few. The library is quite good and has many books for every subject. Infrastructure is still developing through the college has smart classrooms. Students interested in sports can also participate in intercollege activities. Quiz competitions, debates, field visits are also conducted.
Hostel Facilities
Each room has a washroom( 2 seater hostel). Students are provided with a chair, a table, and a good spacious cupboard. The three-seater hostel is the worst, to be honest. You must go for a two-seater. Food is also quite good here. You also have a Jain food option. You need to pay around 2200 per month for food. Registration for a hostel is done in the college itself after admission. Even some students go for pg outside college campus which costs around 4000 per month with food. There are many private pgs available.
Interview Experience
Yes, the interview is taken before admission. Even an entrance exam is taken which includes questions based on aptitude and reasoning. Training for the entrance is given one month prior to the college itself. This year due to pandemic no entrance exam was taken and admission was done on merit.
