Entrance Preview

Giving some entrance exams is very mandatory process in getting admission in the college. In TIMS admission procedure starts from giving entrance exam like AIMS, CAT and many other and students must have 50% marks in graduation. Exam pattern was some related to previous year’s exam some questions are very tricky but I managed to solve them also.

Placement Experience

Placing the students in the suitable jobs is a very big task for the college as many students take admission after doing analysis of the college in which main point contains the placement. In our college Placement activities has a bigger role because each team member of placement tries to give placement to every student by calling good companies.

College Events

Many events are being organised by the college. I like the dance competition because I love to dance. We do lot of practice before competition and also get prizes so that talent is being recognised. Students clubs were also there in which different activities occur. Seminars are occurred in the college. In diwali time whole college is decorated and mostly students take break from college and goto their home in diwali.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life was awesome. College provides hostels facility with security no one is allowed to come after 10:00 pm in any kind of urgency they are willing to inform prior. Faculty were from reputed institutes and well qualified. College is giving best placement and has many other facility like canteen in which they can give suggestion for any food if they wants in the menu.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Exam Structure

Exam pattern was designed in such a way that students should achieve good marks. External exams and internal exams were there in which we have to pass separately. Its a semester based system. We have to make the research project in we have to do research and internship project was also there. I always liked the good exam structure and the college had one of them.

Placement Experience:

The placement season at IIMA starts from December onward. This includes a three to four day marathon placement season that witnesses more than 150 companies visiting the campus. These companies include MNCs such as American Express, Blackrock, Boston Consulting Group, Mastercard, P&G, Nestle Indian conglomerates such as Aditya Birla Group, Tata Group, Mahindra Group, HUL, technology companies such as Amazon, Zomato, Sprinklr. In total ~480 offers are made to candidates in total across laterals as well as finals placement processes. A 100% placement has been a record at IIMA for many years now. While the average package lied somewhere around INR 20 LPA, the maximum was to the tune of INR 75 LPA (and perhaps even more for international locations). I ventured into consulting domain, one of the most revered and sought after clusters post my MBA at IIMA.
