Remarks
As I knew that in order to get admission in b. Pharm course, I had to give mh-cet entrance exam, which is based on the 11th and 12th syllabus of the state board. After filling out the application form, I paid the application fees which were, around 800 for the general category. After the result was declared, I got 96 percentile, and I enrolled my name in cap rounds, in which I got admission to the sterling college of pharmacy.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course, due to my fascination with medicine and drugs, their mode of action is what excites me. The faculty in this college is good, they teach us very well, also if there are any doubts, they are been resolved by the faculties, the fun part is the laboratory where we learn new things every time. Most of the faculties are PhD, hence they are well qualified in their particular subject. Special shoutout to "NEETU MAM " and "PRITAM MAM", who go beyond their limits and clear each and every doubt. Exams are pretty good if we study well.
Internships Opportunities
Most students, search for internships individually, but college does not actively help in Acquiring internships. Most students, get internships in companies like sun pharma, alkem, Piramal, etc Students can also take internship opportunities at pharmacies.
Placement Experience
Honestly, since I am in my second year, I do have not much idea about the campus placements in our college, but surely I know there is a dedicated placement cell here. After getting the degree a person is eligible, to work in the pharmaceutical industry as well as they can open a pharmacy also.
Fees and Financial Aid
Here per year fees are around, 135000 for general category students, which is a bit high, but this is the industry standard. Many of the students can avail of their scholarships as well as deduction in fees by submitting their caste certificate, they are very helpful in this matter.
Campus Life
Our college is affiliated with NSS (national service scheme), which does many social activities, the best one which I have attended is, a blood donation camp, mangrove cleaning, etc. We also celebrate the Ganpati festival in our college. There are some issues with out extracurricular activity head, he is a bit hot as a head person.
