Remarks
To take admitted to this course students must have done their Graduation with a minimum of 6 percent. Admissions are done through an exam called CUET and its form is available on the CUET website students can also get a discount of 70000 if they got a good rank in the exam. No need to improve the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I wanted to be a good manager in any reputed company. To do so I have to do an MBA. Faculty to student ratio in the college is 30:1. All faculties are well qualified and give a good teaching outcome. Exams happen on the monthly basis.
Internships Opportunities
The placement cell at AKGIM also offers internship opportunities with a stipend of 10000-20000. Companies like Kotak bank and Flipkart provide internships for the student to earn. Each semester has projects in the college.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for the placements in the 3rd semester and the company starts visiting the campus. Major companies that visit the campus are TCS, Infosys, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, etc and last year all the students got placed with an average package of 7 LPA and the Highest package of 16 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fee hike. The fee is fixed for the final-year and first-year students. The fee is good at this college. Uttar Pradesh scholarship scheme is there for economically week students whose annual family income is less than 200000.
Campus Life
Word 'fest' is not in the dictionary of AKGIM because no fest is organized since I join the college in 2022 for my PG. The library at AKGIM is good and well-maintained and they have more than 100000 books. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with projectors. There are very few extracurricular activities that happen on campus grounds. there are many clubs in the college like Dance, Music, Fashion, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels in the AKGIM are good and well-maintained, they provide all the necessary facilities for the students. But the mess food is not good and the food has no taste. The hostel fee is 90000 and I think it is affordable for the students. Good PGs are also available for students outside the campus
Interview Experience
The selection was through a Group Discussion followed by a personal interview. The topic of my Group Discussion was OTT vs Theatre. The interview was with HR. To get admission students to need to fill out the application form and then give the GD followed by an interview. To prepare for these round student just need to focus on communication and soft skills
