Good is that it's a reputed engineering college with good faculty, good scope and basd is that faculty dont want to put their effort for the students generally students have to put in their efforts everytime with no help from the teachers.
Entrance Preview
I have given Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET), it's a state level entrance examination held for filling engineering colleges of Rajasthan State except MNIT, Jaipur. I got 327 rank in that exam, I am from Kota and this colllege comes at second position after MBM, Jodhpur. So I went for this college with branch Electronics & Communication. It's a typical government colege with it's facilities, faculties and infrastructure, nothing modern or new but the repution and quality of the student is ok thats why I went for this college.
Internships Opportunities
Well my college as such don't provide any internship help during my time yes but after the second year completion they can help you to forward your application to some companies for your internship If reply comes they will tell you that your can go for internship on so-so date on your own arrangements and expenses and during internship no stipend is offered.
Placement Experience
Now if you talk about placements TCS, Infosys visits regularly to our college for placements for all branches, no matter from which stream you are from, if you satisfy minimum eligibility criteria you are eligible for attending placements session for both. Others companies like DCM, Ashiana Housing, Vedanta, L & T etc visits generally. The placements for last five batches was around 45%, which is according to me is very low for a reputed govt. college.
College Events
We have one major event that is held every year i.e. ANUKRITI, it is mix of both cultural and sports fest that goes on for around 2 weeks and it is being held in the month of January, February every year besides that small department events goes on in respective departments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it's a government college, so fees is not the major concern here, hostel accommodation is also provided at a very reasonable price during my college time the fees was around 41000 per year and now it's around 55000 for self financed seat for government seat it's only 19000 per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is only gold medals are being given during the ANUKRITI fest to top 3 students who stood first, second and third in their respectiver departments apart from these there is no scholarship facility of any sort as of now college don't provide any loan facility for the admission in the college.
Campus Life
Campus life is like typical government college campus life we have a decent gym facility in our college with a badminton indoor stadium we also have a good playground for outdoor sports like Cricket, Hockey, Football etc culture events as already told is ANUKRITI i.e. held every year.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is provided at a very cheap rate with no securities in the hostel as whose is coming inside or going outside the facilities provided that are provided are horrible with unhygienic toilets and rooms. First year it's triple sharing and next year
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is good since the best thing about this college is the students that are coming here to study the quality of students alumni network is strong and good senior students are very helpful and they never refuse you to any help, this was my personal experience.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is pathetic. We have two mid terms in a semester that counts to 20 % of the marks in main exam then main exam is of 80 marks and seriously I tell tell you the structure of the exam is really bad no standard no system, sometimes it looks lik
