Remarks

During four years of journey there were few good and some of the bad experiences that I faced. However, it happens to best of us. I cherished some good experience that I got during my four years of journey. As far as my conclusion is concerned college management is good and further improvement is required to maintain excellent quality education. Thank You.

Entrance Preview

I took ATIT conducted every year by ICFAI UNIVERSITY, in 2013. I got 106th rank in the examination. I opted this because of the state-of-the-art campus and its all over India ranking.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum was bit based on the recent trends in mechanical engineering and in second year I were thought the subjects including fluid mechanics, applied thermodynamics, material of science, machine drawing and in my third year I were thought design of machine elements, design of machine vibration, hydraulics, kinetics of machinery, and in fourth year I were thought automotive engineering, finite element analysis, production planning and control. And course was based upon the current curriculum and advanced research helped me to learn at the depths of the course.

Internships Opportunities

As far as internships are concerned there were two internships one after second year of course which was of short duration of two months and one internship at the final year of course having duration of six months. Company exposure to the college was quite good and different from some other college's where there is no provision of internships. I did my internships at CITD-HYDERABAD for two months duration as quoted IP-1 and final internship I did at Eqic Dies and Moulds P.Ltd., Hyderabad with a monthly stripped of Rs. 4500/-.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement offered by college was as good as the course curriculum. Many of as placed in MNCs such as TechMahindra, Capgemini and many others and of course with good package. Tech Mahindra offered 3.5 lacks p.a. package to some of my friends. More the 75 percent students got placed in more than one company and some of the students decided to go for higher studies to abroad. I am now placed with Hettich India as a designation of Sales engineer.

College Events

4

One of the technical event which held every year is Triti. Triti team organizes many technical events and cultural events before final examinations. Tech events including the various work shops such as design of automotive model. One of the event called Nirvan in which one has to built working models with description.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I must say that the fee structure was not feasible. However, it was expensive to many of the students and many of students had to take education loan from various banks across the country. They must take care of the fee structure and should make feasible to maximum number of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Good scholarship means to top ten students every year prior to my batch. However, the scholarship was ended from my batch(2013-17). So, none of the batch member was able to got the scholarship. However if student wanted to apply for education loan they provides each and every supported documents.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio were dominated by male students. The ratio consists of 80:20(male:female). As far as extracurricular, labs, sports are concerned there were tournament for football, cricket etc.were being played before end semesters examination. And regarding competitions there were few annual competition was held not only in my campus but also to some other college. Teams were used to sent to other college and similarly teams were took part in various competition when held/organized in my college.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yeah of course there were hostel facilities and students had to pay Rs. 40000/- for single semester. This fees includes the PG rent and food at the mess provided by the campus. The food which was offered by Sodexo was good and they always tried to give quality food to its students.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students usually helped to studies and there experienced in many views and they always shared their past experiences ranging from studies to extracurricular especially in sports and other competitive exam such as GATE examination. At the end as far as alumni network is concerned some of the alumni helped to hire my batch mates to some of reputed companies.

Exam Structure

Yes, I must say that all the working days were full of classes, labs and other co-curriculum activities. As far as exam patterns are concerned there were 3 internal exams, quizzes, lab experiment performance at the end of the final semester examination. Exam structure was well suited to learn theoretical as well as practical aspects of the course.

Admission

I applied to ATIT 2013 on 25 April 2013and wrote the exam on 5th of May. Secured 106th AIR in the examination. After selection to the University I applied to my desired course of study through its website . After two weeks I got admission notification of the course in mechanical engineering.

Faculty

The teaching levels and methodology of the faculties were very interactive and friendly. Professors had done PhD have sound knowledge of the core area with expertise over 10 years. They helped me a lot to understand concepts very insight-fully. They intensely focused one batter leanings outcomes and good environment on the class and well respectful discipline among the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.
