VITB in a brief.

Admission to the college is mainly through the AP EAPCET, Based on your EAPCET score you may apply for counselling, and based on that you may get college in the seat. If you have an EWS certificate you will have an odd benefit over OC.

The reason why I chose this course is it is new and completely different from other cs degrees. CSBS was introduced by one of the top IT firms TCS. The curriculum was designed in a very efficient way. Faculty teaching was good. The faculty-student ratio is 12:1. For each semester we will have 2 mid sem exams and one end sem.

The internships are also provided in the 6th semester itself. Many companies offer internship opportunities. Projects are also done in the final year of college. The internship opportunities are very limited.

Students in the 6th semester are eligible for campus placements. Companies like IBM, TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, Palo alto networks, etc. Are the main recruiters. The highest package of our college is 44 LPA and the average package lies between 5 and 6 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is 98.

The campus placements are excellent. If you clear all your subjects without any backlogs, your placement Is confirmed. Students who are eligible can avail of scholarship benefits like JVD which is offered by the government of Andhra Pradesh.

The library is one of the best places in our college, it has all the journals and books. Last year we didn't have any fest because of covid, but this year we are having a fest in the month of December. The classroom amenities are good. Sports and extracurricular activities are given preference. There are many clubs organized some of them are Dance clubs, Drone clubs, music clubs, Build clubs etc.

The hostels are good. Limited wifi is provided. The hot water facility and the hostel food are also good. The menu includes a wide range of food items. The registration process is also simple and can be done on the campus itself.
