Remarks

Minimum 60% in boards in maths, physics and chemistry. You can find it on VIT official site, the application process is extra. The application fee is 1250 rupees. The last date for the 2023 application process is 31st march

Course Curriculum Overview

It has many advantages in today.s world. The faculty graduated from top colleges in India IITs and nits. Some have completed them from post-doc in Canada and Malaysia. Notes will be uploaded to the student portal

You are eligible for internships in the 6th semester and you will get many top companies and the highest package of 63lakh. you can the placements in vitap.ac.in site average package of 7 lakhs as of 2021 there is super dream(above 10 lakhs), dream offers in placements 2938 super dream offers are offered to students as of 4th April in 2022. Around 85% of students are getting placed in VITAP. I am planning to grab one super dream offer and do an internship to gain some experience before that

Fees and Financial Aid

There will be no hike in the fee. VIT will provide you with a provisional admission letter with a fee structure for 4 years. There would be categories in fees according to your VITEEE Exam. You will have your placements in 3rd year itself

Campus Life

There would be fests every year. This December we have a tech-fest by VTAPP. Maximum books are available in the library. You can take some of them to your room to study and return. Classes are wide and you will have projectors and whiteboards. There are basketball court and cricket ground and indoor facilities for badminton and indoor games like carrom, table tennis and chess

Hostel Facilities

There would be 4-bed, 2-bed room type and 2-bed and 4-bed apartment type. You will get bunker beds in 3 hostels and normal-type beds in the newly built hostel. You will be provided with a Table and chair and a wall fan near the table you sit and a wall fan near the bed. The mess will be of three types veg, non-veg, and special mess. you will have non-veg 4 times a week. once you are admitted you will get your hostel registration on the online website where you can pay the fee and give your preferences. You can take rooms near the campus you will find hostels there are two universities near VIT. locality is a village called Mandapam

Hostel Fee: INR 137000 per year

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students are eligible for placement drives in campus. There are many companies that visit our college some of them are wipro,Accenture,Tcs, etc they made many offers in packages and still our college is developing. Highest package is around 13 lpa and average package is 6 lpa as per companies offered. Many students get the campus placement some of them are with high package. My plan is also to get a better job opportunity in our college placements.

I have applied for two more colleges such as Andhra University and SRM AP beside VIT AP. But I gave the first preference to this college based on the reference of my seniors. I did not get rejected from any other colleges. The admission process of my university is of two different ways; based on the entrance exam VITEEE and through EAPCET exam.
