For admission to this course, we had to write NEET UG which is a national-level entrance exam. It is held once a year. The exam can be written by anyone who has passed class 12. The application form is available online with fixed registration fees. After clearing NEET UG, the candidate has to apply to the college through KEA. From there the candidate is selected for the respective college.

I choose this course as it has a wide scope for the future and dentistry is a blooming field. The faculty of the college is one of the best compared to other dental colleges in Bangalore. The number of faculty members is sufficient for the students. The faculty are highly qualified and provide the students with the necessary knowledge. 3 internal exams are conducted and they are similar to the university exams.

The college provides internships after completion of the BDS course that is, after 4 years. During the internship, the student is taught how to diagnose certain diseases and is given a stipend of 35,000. The student learn advanced techniques in dentistry.

The fees are low for residential students and are very high for students from other states. For local students, it is 75000/- annum whereas for non-local students it is 500000 /-year. Scholarships are provided for minority students.

A cultural fest is held once every year. All the books necessary for the dentistry courses are available in the library. The classrooms are properly furnished. Sports groups are present in the college. The campus life is sufficient for a degree college.

The hostel provides most of the necessary amenities. The rooms are well ventilated and each room has a fan, two cupboards, tables, chairs, and a book rack. The food is prepared in the hostel mess and varieties of food are provided. To avail of the hostel, the student has to enroll at the office during admission. The hostel is present inside the college campus.
