Remarks

The applicant should be a 10+2 pass with PCM. To get admission first Register for CGPET an entrance exam that is conducted by the Chhatisgarh government you can also get admission to crack JEE after you have to register yourself on the official site of the college or you can do it offline to visit the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I want to do BTECH in computer science. Teachers are not good but they are good entertainers. Qualification is good but not knowledgeable. 2 exams were conducted in one year and 2 semesters in one year each semester 2 are there. The exam difficulties are moderate.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

3rd years students are eligible to appear in interviews. I found often service-based companies come to recruit students. The companies like Buyjus, just dial, collabrra, etc. The average package of the college is 200k and the highest is 1200k that they say but 1000k is the highest but that happens rarely. 20% of students get placed. After completion of this degree, I have a plan for off-campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are flexible but they ask for extra like late fees sports fees and other activities. Cg Post matric scholarship is there for SC/ST/ OBC, OBC gets 22k and SC/St get 25k overall good but I don't hope there to get a job. The college doesn't have any facilities like getting jobs in campus for students.

Campus Life

Books you will get in the library free of cost and sports and other activities are there. NCC and NNS are there which they take for trips and that is very enjoyable some social groups and clubs are created by students. The college also conducts many events like tech fest. And that is according to the season.

Life at GEC Raipur

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. My College Review- insight from NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the placement starts. Till now around 30-40 snrs have placed. All the good snrs I know and have already been placed. Companies like- Caterpillar, Schneider Electric, JSL, JSPL, JWL, netarwala, Amazon, Dassault System, Reliance, phonepe, Deloitte, come to our college.

Yeah ,the course in terms of comprehensiveness is really satisfactory. I have some issues with sequence of subjects which are covered ,but there is no compromise with the comprehensiveness. So I would rate good that too .

NIT Raipur Review: Where knowledge meets real world engineering.

Placement Experience:

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl,bhel,bhel,reliance,catterpillar,eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.
