Remarks

Admission process was through Centralised Admission Process(CAP) round. You have to submit all the documents if you have reservation for the admission like Domicile, caste certificate, caste validity, etc

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my interest in Computers. The course curriculum is according to the Savitribai Phule University and is quite good and informative. The faculty members are amazing and very helpful. They also take doubt sessions regularly for the students.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 52000 per year

Internships Opportunities

A lot of internship offers were available for the students to apply and appear for. The Training and Placement cell coordinator was very quick to share and notify us of any opportunities she was enlisted with.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees is divided into various parts like tuition fees, development fees, etc. The fees varies according to the reservation of the assigned students. There are many scholarships which the students can apply to and avail their benefits. The scholarship details are all mentioned on the MAHADBT site and you can get all the other details and help through the same website.

Campus Life

The campus life here in the college is quite good. The students are quite frank and friendly with each other and there are no cases of ragging and such. There are student associations of each branch which handle and organise events for the students. All the classrooms have projectors for education purposes which help a lot. There is and annual sports meet conducted every year which consists of various sports events.

REAL INSIGHTS OF RIZVI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

The placements offered by my college are outstanding compared to other colleges in my area. Almost all students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester. Big tech companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and IBM visit the campus for recruitment. Major tech companies such as TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini hire in bulk from this college. Other non-tech companies like JCB, Tata Hitachi, and railway companies also visit the campus for core branches. Approximately 90% of students get placed in this college according to their skills. Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are good . They are incerasing year by year . As now college is made autonomous placement is also good in the college. Companies like TCS , CAPEGEMINI, like such big companies are also coming to college . as such college have developed the placement ratio . the higest package offered in the college was last year it was 18 lakhs . average pacakages offered in the college is betweeen 3 to 7 lakhs . but the students are geeting placed from college. Near about 70 to 80 percentage of the students are getting placed every year.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.

I choose PDEA Manjari Pune or other college. I applied to several reasons. Firstly, its location was a significant factor. Being in Kannad Maharshtra State is relatively convenient for me, compare to college in larger city.
