Remarks

The eligibility criteria for my college was 45% with an entrance exam. I found the college application on the college website itself in February with an application fee of Rs. 99. Even though I have reservation benefits, I did not opt for them since I got admission through the entrance examination. I would want the admission process to have a personal interview round.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I pursued BJMC and specialized in advertising and mass communication because I am keenly interested in copywriting, content writing, etc. There were students from all over the country and the college also provides a Masters's Degree. Faculty members come with experience in their respective fields. On special occasions, special classes were conducted with experienced Professors of the particular field. There were 6-semester examinations with 2 exams each year and passing depends on upon individual preparations.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

There were no hikes in the fees though we were told to pay the entire amount during the Covid 19 lockdown. I was placed on an internship from the college itself after my graduation as a management trainee.

Campus Life

2.5

Life on the campus is fun and never boring as there were programs and functions organized by the college. The library was available with all the journals and books required by one. There were clubs and groups of art, dance, photography, and more.

Other Applied Colleges

Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication - [AIMC] | Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Marketing Communication

I decided to rather focus on my career.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The designed syllabus is too good. It creates the balance in our study. We take practical knowledge there. There are some equipment which we can use for real world knowledge. They can improve in graphics & video editing structures.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum we follow is quite basic and easy to understand. We usually complete our syllabus prior to the exam period as it leaves the time for revisions and extra practise. The teaching methods should be more practical according to our course though.

Placement Experience:

College does offer campus placements as far as I know rest depends on you weather you want to sit for on campus placements or not. Companies like Microsoft , Amazon, TCS , Mahindra , Zee news, aaj tak do visit the college for placements. Around 60 percent of the students get placed . From 5 semester they become eligible for placements

Placement Experience:

As you must be aware that the Journalism and Mass Communication course requires a lot of fieldwork and knowledge to be eligible to uphold placements and excel in your skills. The placements depend upon the number of skills you have, what all fieldwork you have, and what all are you willing to optimistically learn and put into action. Students can start interning in their respective interest fields from the 2nd year as in the 4th Semester and by the end of the 5th Semester, students become eligible for campus placements. 60% of students get placed in good production houses or marketing and advertising firms as per their capabilities and some of the renowned production houses that come for placements are Dainik Bhaskar, Byjus, Rajasthan Patrika, Fist India TV, etc. I did sit for placements and was offered an internship training at Dainik Bhaskar as a content writer with a stipend of Rs. 30,000 and a permanent job after completion of training but I refused it as I wanted to do Masters.

From 3rd year. The students get plenty of offers for the campus placements. The average package is 6 LPA. About 55% of students getting placements in the one go. I am going to be a writer and create my own youtube channel and work as an anchor to fulfil my own dream.
