FORENSIC SCIENCE 2020

The admission process is quite simple and hassle-free you just have to submit your 10th and 12th mark sheet DOB certificate and LC from your recognized school or board. Entrance exams are for those who want to avail scholarships otherwise it is not necessary. you must have passed your 12th in the science stream to be eligible for this course.

I personally wanted to explore and make my career in the field of forensics so I chose this course, the faculty-to-student ratio is 1:80 the faculties are highly qualified usually holding a master's or a Ph.D. degree, and also have cleared the NET examination. The course usually lasted 4-5 months and the difficulty level varies from subject to the subject although it can be rated as moderate.

Internship opportunities are present in our college which are conducted under training and placement cell which allows you to work under a certain firm for a pre-decided time period to gain hands-on experience. I am currently going to work under DFS Gandhinagar on the subject of ballistics and fingerprint examination.

The placement opportunities are completely different for each field and course talking about my course which is bsc forensics there is not much placement and the ones getting placements are either working on a contract basis in any other field than forensics.

The fees are usually hiked a bit every year by 10k per year at present (as of 2022) it is 72,000 per annum tuition fees excluding hostel fees which sum up around 2 lakhs for the entire course. Scholarship opportunities are also available The fee structure is different for instate and outstate students.

The campus life is one of the most vibrant ones in Gujarat with different fests being conducted all around the year with DHOOM & HACKATHON being the main events. Every faculty has its own different librabry with a wide array of books to choose from, classes are well equipped with projectors. for better learning, sports facilities are one of the best in all of Gujarat with opportunities to represent at the state as well as national level.
