Remarks

The cut-off changes every year as per the results. But it goes nearly up to 83-85%. You can find the form on the SAMS site. Yes, reservation benefits are there for sc/st girls. Basically, we just have to pay fewer fees as compared to others and also the cutoff for selection is around 70%. Yes, the admission process is a bit hectic I just wish it could be an online process with one go.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I have to pursue a CMA course in the future so I chose b.com As a base for my Commerce line. As like every college the ratio is similar between students and teachers 3 to 4 faculty per subject. Qualification UGC NEET and some are having PhD. Every 6 months there is a semester total of 6 semesters and internal as per that.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

For an intership, you can get local firms and if you are interested in Company then you may contact the Hiring and placement dept. The project we do is about smart cities like Bhubaneswar where the institute is fall. About the smart cities, the changes they did for society and what is smart about the city etc. With the help of our seniors, citizens, faculty and mentors etc

Placement Experience

5

Students are eligible after giving 4th semester but they have to take one consent letter from the department. Not much idea about that because I haven't enrolled for the campus placement. But some companies are like JSW, TATA, IMFA, VEDANTA etc. Are came for placement. Avg. Maybe around 6 lac.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study is less if you are from the reservation category. It's a bit high for the Gen. and OBC category. No extra fees for the semester all included in admission fees. There are some scholarships like MEDHABRUTI, PRERNA and many more. Stipends is more likely from 3k-10k. I had to do Higher study so that I can't go through the Hiring process but some big companies like JSW, IMFA, TATA etc. Are in campus placement.

Campus Life

4.5

No idea about the month is but it is organised every 2-3 months some seminars, counselling, sports events etc. Every book is available in the library and if not available they can arrange it for you. Classrooms are just gonna give you the old school memories, names written on walls and benches, old fans etc. Debate competitions, inter College tournaments etc.

Placement Experience:

In our college, final-year students are eligile for campus placements. While i don't recall the specific companies that visited, one of my friends interviewed with Axis Bank and got selected with a package of around 2.4 lakh. The exact percentage of students are placed and details of average or highest packages are unclear to me, but the placements process provides opportunities of those actively seeking jobs. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue an independent career rather that seeking a traditioinal job placement.
