Remarks
The Admission process is very straightforward and simple without any entrance exam. The admission forms are available only by Offline mode i.e. you have to get the form from college office for ?200-300. Online admissions are not available. Just submit the form along with your Aadhar, High School and Intermediate (and Graduation if applying for Master's) marksheet copies along with Admission fees of 2500 to 4000 depending upon the course and your admission is confirmed. There are no reservations in the college. All students are admitted in the college regardless of their previous academic performance. Admissions for Bachelor's courses usually start once the Results for Intermediate (12th) are announced and officially remain open for 2-3 months depending upon the intake. But one can get admission even after the admissions close if you have contacts in the college or just by simply meeting the principal provided you have a valid reason for late admissions.
Course Curriculum Overview
I just wanted a degree to be eligible for further government exams, hence i chose this college and this course. The syllabus is outdated. That's because this college comes under Purvanchal University, it's bad, because Semester Duration are not fixed (some 8 months long, some 3 months), Way too many holidays and unnecessarily long vacations, Form Date extensions, Results not on time, Improper Exam Forms, No proper University released Syllabus Books or even guidelines on which books to buy, etc. Exams aren't so difficult provided that you have studied. There are Mid term exams too in each Semester. And it's not so difficult to get good marks if you're in this college (if you know what I'm trying to imply). There's a 60:40 Male to Female Ratio in almost every class, Biology, Psychology, Home Science, Humanities and the likes have a 50:50 ratio. Almost all Teachers are sufficiently well qualified (not excellent though), but some are not so good. They're very helpful to students.
Fees and Financial Aid
There's a one time admission fee of around 2500 to 4000 rupees. Though you can get a discount if you meet the principal. Then there are additional exam fees of 2000 to 3000 in each semester. This fees needs to be paid later on during exam form submissions. There's also some miscellaneous fees that you need to pay later on but it's not so much, only a couple of hundred rupees. You can get financial assistance in fees if you're from a really weak financial background though that is very much dependent upon the principal if he sees fit. College doesn't have a hostel. There are private rooms for students where you can live in the vicinity of college. Rent is ?2000 - 2500, Bed (which is just a big wooden table) without mattress, Lights, Cieling Fan might be included (might be not). You'd have to cook food yourselves or eat outside. You can also share your room with a roomate. The total cost may come around 10000 to 13000 per semester including all expenses from Fees to Living.
Campus Life
There aren't any tech fests or sports fests in this college. Some seminars and rallies are arranged on festivals of Academic Importance and on Birth or Death Anniversary of prominent figures and when some Government officials visit. Some Competition of Arts and Literature were held last year, but none were held this year, so there's no certainty regarding that. You can apply for NSS in each year. They're basically for creating awareness among the youth. Separate seminars and camps are held for them but they aren't that interesting. Other than NSS, no other clubs or groups or extra curricular activities are there. All classrooms have Just the basic Desk Bench, Blackboard, Lights and Fans. No AC, No Projectors, No Speakers, No Mic, No Backup Generators for Classrooms (and power cuts are frequent, on a daily basis). There's a Library with probably thousands of books, but almost all books irrelevant for today's youth. There a canteen but it's not operational since last year.
