CBSE/SSLC/THSSLC is the basic eligible qualification to get college admission. When admission is open, you can get the application form at the polyadmission.org website and submit it within the allotted time. The admission process is simple as in other colleges and I am satisfied with the admission procedures.

I am an enthusiast in electrical so I opted for this course. Our college maintains a 1:60 faculty-to-student ratio. In the general department, the qualification of faculty is an assistant professor and in the opted department it is a professor. Semester exams are delayed now due to post-corona effects and the syllabus is changed to revision 2021. So there will be a change in the question patterns also. As we are the first batch in the new syllabus, the exams were a little difficult.

After the syllabus has changed to revision 2021. The number of internships has increased to one per year. Students can get an average stipend of 500 per day according to the company they choose. After the internship students have to do a presentation based on the outcomes of the internship.

From the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. I don't know the name of the companies visited but the electrical and electronics department is giving 90% placement to students without back papers. After completing the diploma course, I will be eligible to get a supervisor license in electrical work and will move on with further work.

As this college is under the Kerala government, we have to pay the semester fee only which ranges from 2000 to 4000 per semester. There is a wide range of scholarships that students can apply for based on their background. Almost 80% of students are placed with so many companies at an average package of 3LPA. I am not eligible for any of the scholarships.

In our college, there is a well-maintained air-conditioned library where there are more than enough books also a mini stadium ground and a gym where students can develop their athletic skills. IEDC a club by students conducts various programs based on modern trends.
