Remarks

The college seniors are helpful and also alumni are good. Some of those working in foreign do come here to organise seminars for us. They also help us with placement querries.

Entrance Preview

I give only JEE, main to get admission in this college. I got 129 out of 372 in JEE . Now I enrolled in Civil Engineering b.e course.i opted for this college because of its infrastructure,facilities provided by the college and the best faculty i have ever known.

Placement Experience

If I talk about my course Civil engineering our placements are least, also job opportunities also very low(Only few in government sector) i.e. we only have 6.5 lakh average placement and only 45 percent student placed. The main reason behind that is students of my department really not much Interested in placement, most of them wanted to go towards government sector.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is not good around 7:4 or even more. (Boys:Girls) .Workshops and labs. are good with good facilities. Often quizzes, cricket matches, football matches, volleyball matches take place.Debates are also held and are a wonderful experience indeed.

The faculty was excellent for our course.they taught us the course content very easily.They provide us the project for the practical experience.The class materials were very help full for preparation of the examination.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

LIFE IN MITS-DU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.
