Remarks
I received admission through the counselling process of the government by considering my EAMCET score. One needs to write the EAMCET exam and then based on the rank he scores he/she can apply for the eligible colleges then if he is eligible he would get admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because the course seemed interesting. The faculty of this college can be considered average there are about 20+ faculty in the EEE dept. Most of the faculty has a minimum of 5 yrs of experience and had completed their M-TECH, very few had completed their PhD.
Placement Experience
Placements take place after the completion of the 3rd year for all branches. Extra importance is given to CSE, ECE, and IT but if the candidate is capable enough he/she can land at least one job(IT-JOB) of min 4 LPA. The outgoing batch of 2022 landed 1500+ placements which are quite good. The highest package is around 13 LPA. The avg packages are between 3.6 to 4 LPA. Around 85% of students get placed in at least one job. My plan after the degree is to pursue MS.If the student shows promise the faculty even helps out during critical exams like GATE etc. There are many companies that visit our college the big names are WIPRO, COGNIZANT, VIRTUS, and TCS, most of these companies offered minimum of 250+ placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is almost the same as the other regional colleges though it is high can't argue that fact, there are scholarships provided to those who are eligible. There are campus placements but as a common culture the placement dept shows extra care to CSE, IT, and ECE, and depts but if the candidate is good enough then he can sure place at least one nominal paying IT job(4 LPA). CAMPUS recruitments do happen but it solely depends on the candidate's performance though the college plays a huge role.
Campus Life
Campus life is good, no ragging, friendly seniors, there are many clubs too if interested can join. The library is small but the basic needs are provided. Sports are allowed but no ground and tournaments do take place. Coming to fests they are conducted and given importance esp technical fests the fests are coordinated by both faculty and seniors. There is an annual day also and once a year they keep DJ night which is quite good something which you don't see in other colleges. Classrooms are wide but not comfortable enough three per bench and the benches are of avg quality not so great. There is a canteen, the food is good and tasty but the canteen isn't big enough.
Other Applied Colleges
Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
