Remarks
The admission process involved two categories. One is through Qualification of AP EMACET and the other is direct admission. I got through qualifying for the AP EMACET. I applied for AP EMACET through the AP EMACET portal. I wrote the exam and qualified. To get admission to the college the cut-off rank is up to 50000 for O.C candidates and I got a 20000 rank though which I get in Electronics and Communication Engineering. During admission time you should provide your Rank card along with previous education qualifications for verification. In the direct admission process, you should approach the Administration and management department in the college itself.
Course Curriculum Overview
The reason for choosing the ECE is the world is moving to digitalized where Electronics play a vital role and I also fascinated by those embedded systems and communication systems. The no of students for my branch for one year is 180 and total would be 720 and the faculty are 60 teaching staff. The department has 7 members who are Ph.D. holders and 25 members who have more than 15 years of teaching experience and 20 members who are pursuing Ph.D. The teaching methods are interactive and some of them are activity-based teaching. The term exams are conducted every six months and passing some subjects is easy whereas some are most difficult because of mostly circuit diagrams.
Placement Experience
After the 5th-semester students are eligible for campus placements and Wipro, Hexaware, Apps associates, Tech Mahindra, AGS, Aptroid, Amazon, Credancys, Cavison, IBM, Sopra and Steria, Virtusa, TCS, Polaris, Yodlee, Invenio. 727 placaements in last 2020-2021 and 1000 offers in 2020-2022. The highest package offered was 32 LPA Serverless stack, Amazon offered 20 LPA for 2 students and the average package is 4.25 LPA. 80 percentage of students are get placed. I got offer in TCS of 7 LPA and I would like to job inTCS.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fee structure for Direct Admission is 69000 per year. I went into college through the government scholarship quota and full fees got paid by the government under Vidhya Deevena and I need to pay for the building fund of 7500 per year and the semester exam fee.
Campus Life
The annual fest is conducted in March and the department fest name Dhruva was conducted during Febuaray. We do have a department libraray and a Central libarary where one can find a variety of books and journals. The class rooms has speakers and projector. The sports events are conducted weekly and there will be tournaments for the fest. We do have multiple clubs like Radio, Dance club, Music club, and Green club where each one can be a part and parcel of them.
