IIRM hyderbad shaping your future

ISM(IIT) DHANBAD was my second choice for this course but I couldn't make it to get admitted as my name was considered among the waitlisted candidates. I did not avail any quota for getting admission. The admission process was quite smooth and easy. You need to appear for CAT followed by registration and then get shortlisted for GD/PI. My PI was quite interesting and time taking. It almost took 45 minutes for an interview to finish.

The faculty members are highly qualified. Also, they are humble and generous and very helpful in guiding through the course. Co-curricular activities could have been better. Altogether a good experience.

the fee structure is quite the problem. Not very expensive but they keep on reminding you about the fee payment as if we are going to run without paying. There are no scholarships to avail. Not very sure about the stipend.

Life at the campus is great. The library is huge and quite the environment. The gym, playground, and badminton keep us in good shape. The canteen is good. Indoor games, gym area and other sports activities are worth joining.

Not yet moved in so cannot say on this. Apart from my experience I did hear from my Seniors that Hostel is not so good in terms of living standard and privacy. But canteen is quite good and hygienic. Also indoor games are worth going for.

The GD/PI was very thorough and cross questions were very rapid which really got me. But the faculty were very cooperating and kind in explaining the answers that I couldn't. Also, what I observed in the GD/PI round is that the interviewer looks for the confidence in the candidate which indeed is a basic necessity for the course.
