Remarks

There is no entrance exam. They just check our mark sheet. That's all. The application form and all the processes we can do from the office section. The eligibility for the course is to take the science group in the plus two.

I choose this course because I am interested in the operating field. That's why I choose the course. The faculties are good and very friendly. Faculties are well trained and the teaching method is also impressive. In my course, it was 6 sem. And it's not that hard to pass.

Internships Opportunities

The college will provide internships for respective courses if needed. I also got an internship in one of the famous hospitals in Andhra Pradesh with a stipend this internship is for 1 year. After the 1 year of internship, I need to submit the projects and assignments.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a little more. And its cost is around 450000/- including hostel fees to complete a 3-year degree. The campus didn't provide any stipend and the scholarship and financial assistance will help by the college management.

Campus Life

The campus is very good. Mainly the campus is situated near the hillside so the climate and the atmosphere are very pretty. Their tech fest is good and it is enjoyable. The library is about 2 floors which contains a vast range of books on the subjects. The classroom contains a projector and it will be used when needed only. The extracurricular activities are less the college. They didn't have any social groups or websites that were run by students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room is tiled. And in-room, there will be 2 chairs and 2 tables and 1 big drawer. And the room is 3 sharing rooms. The hostel contains wifi which has a normal speed. The meals that they provide are good and contain veg and nonveg items. In the mornings they provide Dosa, Roti, Pongal, idly, etc at the afternoon only rice with 4 sets of curries, and on Sundays biriyani or maybe fired rice. At night most of the days contain nonveg items mainly chickens. The registration process will be done in the college at the time of admission. Nearby so many rental rooms present and it is affordable.

NIEPMD college insight

Likes

The campus environment is very good, neat and calm, the campus is well maintained and regularly cleaned
The main language that's spoken here is english, since people from all over India comes here, the common language to communicate switches to English, which is better for our English vocabulary and for future job references
It's a ragging free campus, there is strict anti ragging helpline, seniors are friendly,

Dislikes

No availability of good food nearby the college, since it's in outskirts of chennai, there is no medical or no or very few hotels around here
There is shortage of staffs here, and mostly boys to girls ratio is like 1:4 in our class,
The canteen food needed to be improved and should provide proteinacious food

Placement Experience:

The college gives internships after the final year, 6 months is the duration of the internship, 3 months inside campus and 3 months they post us outside the college to nearby hospitals or colleges like SRM,Meenakshi, Saveetha, balaji etc....Placements are average, they have to do a lot of work on it, but the coming placements are with a good salary amount

This college have good cirtificate value
This college have a great principal who is very passionate about what he is doing
You will be Able to have a budget friendly life here

Dislikes

Faculties are not upto mark but they are ok
The infrastructure is not good but yes they are improving
Very bad toilet facilities, campus is not that big

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is possible here You will get intership from nimhans Bangalore and many great places There is campus placement but Id rather recommend to have other methods coz you will get great package for this course than the place they are placing us.

Niepmd - ASIA'S only college for multiple disabilities

Likes

Asia's first college which is working for multiple disabilities
Clinical exposure will be much better than other colleges
Good teaching skills and teachers support

Dislikes

No hostel facilities for students after first year
No bus facilities for students for day scholars and outside first year hostellers
Canteen food is not good as per students need

- i want to become a doctor and this field feels very much interesting to me - yeah there will be so much clients load will have a great exposure for different disabilities and well planned treatments also - detailed review about patients by clinical staff has to be there and teaching with interest - every year annual exam and it's difficult

Placement Experience:

The course consists of 3 years and 1-year internship. Every student will be able to get job after the course because during the 1 year internship you will be able to expand your knowledge and get exposure. I plan on doing my PG after completing the degree.

Placement Experience:

During internship periods itself got placement. They published my research paper with faculty guidance during the internship itself. 100% passed out students were placed in various hospitals. Offering a Master degree with a specialization in Psychiatry, Pediatrics and Neurology.

I got admission in this college by getting high marks in my HSC examination. The eligibility criteria are as follows: Applicants should have passed through HSC or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany and Zoology. The vocational stream isn't qualified for admission. Applicant should have finished 17 years old as on 31st December of the admission year

Good enough.

I mainly chose this college over others because this was one of the few colleges that offered AI along with Data structure. Most of the other colleges offfered only Ai with ML which was not what I was looking for. I only came here cuz it was too late for me to apply for other colleges whereas here, the admission was pretty late and there were seats available.
