Fun filled yet

I took the AP Eamcet entrance exam to get admission to this college. The eligibility for this course is 10+2. All the students who got seats in Eamcet are eligible for a scholarship which pays the college fee in full. I got in general quota so I don't know much about the reservation and all. But those who didn't make it through Eamcet can avail the management quota seats.

I am currently pursuing CSE with a specialization in Data Science. Since there is a lot of demand I chose this course and the faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:22. The faculty here are highly educated doctorates and professors. We get to learn in a lively environment. The term exams are conducted every 5 months and since it is an autonomous college it is not that difficult to pass and not too easy at the same time.

The placements in our college are better than most of the colleges in the region. Campus placements usually take place in June and go on. The students are eligible for campus placements as soon as they complete the 6th semester. The highest package is 44 lpa from amazon and the lowest is 3.7 lpa. Almost 90% of students get placed in the companies.

For the B.Tech course, the fees are around 69700 and since the government pays for the scholarship (Jagananna Vidya Deevana) and we get to have an extra 20k as hostel expenses through Jagananna vasathi deevana.

Coming to cultural events and technical events we get to have so many events for each department in which students and faculty work cooperatively resulting in increasing the bond and of course the entertainment. CSE branch has Tarang and each branch has one. Coming to classrooms each and every class is equipped with projectors. We have a sports class and library two times a week. There are many clubs that are being started this year and help the new students to nurture their skills.

As a hosteller of this college, I won't hesitate to tell you that the food quality is way worse and in my case, one of my roommates got a large worm in his food. That sums up the whole messy situation. But coming to rooms they are better food being the downside of the hostel. The hostel also provides wifi for students. The hostel fees are 73k for non-ac and 83k for ac per academic year and they are expected to change this year.
