Remarks

I think they should concentrate on study(practice/ practicals not written exams only). Should provide their best for placements/Personal development classes and speaking classes so that they will be strong enough to face new challenges after college. They should have some idea about working environment of companies,.Growing techniques, surviving skills etc. Because people came from different backgrounds some r very advance n some r not.

Entrance Preview

UP Tech exam scored 6000 rank I opt this college for IT branch. My brother was also done btech from one of its branch MIET.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

It was good but not the best. As they emphasize only on percentage or passing marks. Although facilities was good with knowledge. As per my experience now only marks are not enough thing we should have practical knowledge as well. It depends on students also but teaching skills are also plays a great role. That's why we don't call them teacher they are professional teachers... Professors. Somewhere we had good opportunity to get knowledge from good professors and sometimes we were getting only bookish knowledge from our teachers.(as few were teachers and few were professors)

Internships Opportunities

Only UST and Accenture. UST hired 17 candidates and Accenture only one. Might be because that was recession time.

Placement Experience

1.5

Not that much bad but not actually good. Candidates had no idea about different pool campuses and college never provide any facility to attend such pool campuses. We had to struggle by our own. We searched companies by our own. We arranged interview by help of our other friends inside the college or outside the college.

College Events

3.5

Tech fest, annual fest every year, seminars for robotics and Linux labs. Me and my friends always participated. We won so many certificates related to tech games and seminars. In last time they arranged a session for PD classes. And on our last day they were not arranging any farewell but all students collected money and arranged a dhol and small party.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. Fees was not that much high but yes accommodation was quite costly. As food n other facilities were not that much up to the mark. Might be because it was new college and they needed some time to get established. So they were not that much good as they charged. But overall for a student it was good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Never.. There was no such scholarships. Might be SC/ST got scholarships for 2 semesters but we never heard about any scholarships after that. And being general category, we cannot expect such miracles.

Campus Life

2

Everything was good. As expected. There was no such gender/ religion discrimination. We all treated equally. We all belonged to different communities and different cultures. And some of us are still best friends. There were no discrimination from faculty side and from student's side

Hostel Facilities

2.5

6/10. Pg was good as I told u in previous comments: food n other facilities were not that much up to the mark. Might be because it was new college and they needed some time to get established. Apart from that we had good transport facilities to fulfill our needs they used to take us to market twice in a week or sometimes thrice in a week.

Alumni/Alumna

We were first batch. Our faculty was only our seniors there. They helped us in making assignments and exam preparation. Whatever they did it was enough to get good marks but quite less to get good organisations skills and interview skills.

Exam Structure

Good. Exam structure was good. But they less emphasized on practicals. We got degree with good marks but somewhere we missed skills to crack interviews. They provides us bookish knowledge and it was good to get good scores but was not enough for after that session... Interviews. We all depends on our college to get knowledge about world after the college. It was missing thing only.

Admission

By selecting that college in re-counselling I got opportunity to join that college. I was not aware that time that it is new college and I'll be the first batch. It was confusion between MIT or MIET. It was a great confusion and I selected MIT instead of MIET. MIET was one of the best colleges of UPTU in terms of faculty, placements, professors, infrastructure and too many other things. While other hand MIT was the incomplete building without hostel and labs for 1 year. But it was a subsidiary of MIET.

Faculty

3

They were also very good and helpful. Very knowledgeable facility we had in our time. Management was also good. HOD was not that much responsible but Director sir was very good person. Sometimes we felt that few faculties are not that much capable to handle the class's as they were also new to teaching field. They didn't have that much experience to handle students and to provide best of there knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Reviewed on Mar 10, 2025(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
