Remarks

College management in general good. They manage the institute quite well.

Entrance Preview

I took up the entrance examination specific to the college, scored 93.6% and got in. Once you clear the initial entrance exam, you need to appear for a GD followed by an interview. Once all the rounds are over, a final short list is put up. I heard good feedback from my acquaintances about the college and hence I joined.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is in general well structured - both in duration and selection of topics. One will always get a chance to learn the most trending subjects in the work steam which by itself is a big plus as far as the career is concerned. For most of the courses, you need to select two or more electives from a list of 10+ subjects.

Internships Opportunities

The college does provide stipend to some of the course, or, rather a small percentage of courses. Please check with the institute the get the updated information on the course you choose to opt.

Placement Experience

3

Placement opportunities do exist in the institute for most of the courses. I would say the placement percentage will be around 60%, when averaged out. Companies typically offer 2.5L - 3L as an initial package. However, campus placements are typically confined to professional courses like MCA.

College Events

4.5

Numerous events are hosted by the college in an academic year. The college also encourages students to participate in numerous events happening in other colleges as well. The college is known for its rich events and students across india come and participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is flexible as the management gives the flexibility to remit the fees in instalments. However, the courses fees for most of the courses are typically on the higher side, thanks to its facilities. Please check with the respective department to get to know more about the fees structure in finer details.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since I have not availed any loan facilities from the college, I would recommend prospective students to check with the college directly.

Campus Life

4.5

College has a good gender diversity ratio, an almost 1:1. Lots of fun events, sports, competitions and other cultural and inter-cultural and multicultural activities take place. It's real fun and very enjoyable. No apparent discrimination whatsoever.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities are good, food goes in a sharing system. Hostel serves both veg and non veg. Hostel cannot accommodate all students, so natural preference is for students from other towns or cities. Typically stay and food charges would range between 1500-2500.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not very active, though it exists. Once a year meet up and occasional emails. But it's a good platform to be in touch.

Exam Structure

Exams and lab times are normally hectic, as universities in tamilnadu expect students to write epics on the topic of study. While the effectiveness of this method or expectation is debatable, it goes without saying that students need to expand the reading horizon beyond the prescribed text books.

Admission

Typically around Mar of every year, the college announces the courses to which admission is sought for the upcoming academic year. Once you send the application, you are required to appear for an entrance examination based on the course you apply. Some courses are admitted based on the marks on the previous foundation course. Once the entrance is cleared, next round will a GD, which typically spans for an hour. Sometimes, you may even have to participate in a second round of GD. Once you clear GD, appear for an in-person interview and after all these, a final shortlist is put up.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty in general is good. They are knowledgeable in their respective subject areas and are congenial to mingle with. The institute maintains a good pool of PhD holders as well. However, there are a few not-so-easy tutors who will nourish your interpersonal skills while your study.

I took MCA to get placed into IT companies . The subjects in the MCA is very interesting but the students who studied UG course and then the pg course also in the same college then it is totally waste because they are studying the same subject again. Very bad thing is that in this college they are providing the same subjects and same syllabus for UG and PG students there is nothing different. But i have studies ug in other clg so for me it is different so i managed and it is interesting
