A brief about my college

In our state, there is an exam called Eamcet. This exam is like an entrance gate for every B.Tech aspirant. The score you got gets you a good college. There is a Reservation based on Sc, St, Bc and Oc castes. To apply for this exam we have to register on the Andhra Pradesh state official site and fill out our application form. The application fees will be around 1k and the dates will be announced by the government mostly around May. Currently, I am studying at Raghu Engineering College(REC), in my personal opinion it is a good college, the college life everything makes you interesting. If you work hard you will difinetly get placed. The only improvement I want to see is to remove Reservation based Seats.

I chose EEE because I like electrical subjects more than any other. Here faculty is good and makes you study and there are always be helpful with you. The faculty and student relation are good here, they are always friendly with us. They did PhDs and doctorates who are in high positions and Assistants are assistant professors etc. Every 5-6 months there will be a sem exam and it is most likely to be passed.

In my course EEE, the fees for one year are 79k. For different departments, it will be different. And apart from this 79k, there are extra 5-10k charges for different aspects. So if you got JVD which is the scholarship given by our state government, then one has to pay only charges in a year, every other money will be paid by the JVD scholarship. I am currently pursuing a course in the Pega university program in my own college, so I am expecting a job in this course.

Every individual department will have its own particular Fests, in the fests they are many things tech, cultural and fancy Etc. most probably these fests will be conducted in the months when the Final years reveal. In our college library, every book will be available about our studies and about journals etc. Every classroom has a projector. Raghu college is famous for sports, here every sport is encouraged. Raghu basketball team has won many cups in intra-college tournaments.
