Course Curriculum Overview

2

BCA is one of the most trending courses these days because it is a professional tech course with soo much scope and fields ahead. I choose BCA with data science because of my background in school, I studied maths, computer science, and stats which were all a big part of data science and I was recommended it will be the best specialization for me. The curriculum in my time wasn't the best but now it has been improved a lot. The usual faculty-student ratio is 1:40 which isn't bad especially because nobody attends classes except a few. Faculty can be a hit or a miss. They are not like the most prestigious faculty, you won't come to JU for the faculty that's for sure. Most of them lack the knowledge and skills to teach. Even when they know they don't know how to teach. JU loves exams, they mostly take place like every month. 3 in-term exams, 1 practical, and 1 end-term exam. Most of them are easy, I didn't find them difficult.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

The last semester of your degree is for the internship or you can make a project. Then it is evaluated by an external jury at the end of the semester and they grade you on basis of your PPT and viva. We are informed that there are companies/ tie-ups of the university for students to only get their internships. If you get a pre-placement offer then the training period becomes your internship and then you can continue working in that company. There are other options as well that you can explore

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements are a big part of your degree at JU. They do offer placements but for BCA they are not so great. You become eligible for them in your final year and a lot of companies visit the campus but for BCA are there a few only like Capgemini, Accenture, Serbia, etc. The average package is 3,00,000 and the highest would be like 7,00,000 from BCA. They also have a training course before placements which is called CRT which is actually like training you for the placements, it's quite good.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost is not that high but for what you get( a mismanaged mess) it's a waste of money. They do provide scholarships based on your marks. And yes I am pretty sure they provide financial assistance as well but I didn't need it so not sure about that. There are a lot of internships and jobs available on campus that you can work in and they give you a stipend for the same.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life is the reason people come to JU. Yes, it has a very lively and attractive college life, the life you see in movies. A lot of opportunities and exposure for you to avail yourself. A lot of events including fests are conducted and you can easily be a part of the organizing teams. They are conducted usually in March or April. And other events happening all around the year. The library is not that great, yes most books are available but the infrastructure is not that good. There are no amenities, and there is NO AC OR DUCTING, only fans in the classroom and it gets soo hot that you genuinely cannot sit there. There is those projectors n stuff. There are a lot of clubs you can join, all from different fields, you will for sure find the one for you. And I will 100% recommend going to clubs because the way they boost your networking and confidence it's just amazing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choosen this course because I want to do something apart from btech there is no other specific reason behind it curriculum of this course is best everything from faculty to staff everyone has good knowledge and experience in IT field one thing that I will recommend is that college authorities should hire more young people as faculty because in this type of course young generation will easily connect to just elder people and I also experienced this and exams get scheduled in every month like there is only 25 days gap between mid term and end semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

The bca course is this not as much profittable as we can do from south side colleges because the opportunity in Rajasthan is not much proper in BCA branch so we suggest that you can do the course from South side if you want a better degree and a better placement and if you want a degree only and you have a sweater plan then you can do BCA from this college also it is not that one bed
