Remarks

There was no entrance exam for this course, but there is a cut-off list of 60% in 12th class. The admission process was good; the staff was very helpful and easy. For the admission, first you have to register yourself for the seat because there are only limited seats available for this course, i.e., 30 seats, and if you want to pursue this course after B. Pharmacy, then you can do that too, but in that case there are only 10 seats available.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is good and vast. Faculty members help students to understand the logic of things easier than they can think of. I chose this course because it has a vast scope in every line of the pharma industry and after this course you can also work in a hospital as a clinical pharmacist. Exams are not that difficult to crack if you study regularly, as you know that faculty helps a lot. For the passing marks, you have to get at least 50%.

Placement Experience

4

There are placement offers which are given by the college. There are a lot of students who have been placed in good companies like Nestle, Sun Pharma, and others, or you can get a job in our own hospital MMIMSR as a clinical pharmacist.

Fees and Financial Aid

As we know, every year there is a hike in the fees, but I think the amount they take from us is worth every penny. And yes, you can get scholarships if you have more than 85% marks in your 12th. But there are no such jobs during the course period that you can do on campus.

Campus Life

4.5

The infrastructure of the university is good. have all the basic needs fully filled. There are restaurants in Campus such as Dominos, Giannis, etc. There are a lot of clubs here, like the literature club, the dance club, etc. The social life here is good.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel rooms are also good because they have an attached bathroom, a bed, an almirah, table, and a chair to study in. For the food, you'll have to go to the common mess. The food is good too; every other or third day, there is a dessert for dinner. If you want to rent a room or get a PG, then there is a place near the university that you can try, and the locality is good.

Placements are very good . More than 500+ companies are joined with KR MANGALAM UNIVERSITY in case of placement. In last and second last semester students become eligible for placement. Highest package in our university was of 36LPA and average is about 3-4 LPA. Percentage of student getting placement is more than 90%. As I am pursuing D pharma course I will be giving EXIT exam after completion of this course and after getting my License I will open a drug store. This is my plan for now I will decide later if I've to do something else

Timing for exams, timing of completion of course, including rules and regulations are very well established. Teaching methods and aids are good bt need improvement in think about providing scholarship which is mentioned or promised for entire course programs. The most good part is there is availability of the well known and good programs and functions to make a interest between students and teachers to reach college daily without getting bored.

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester, students become eligible for the on campus placement. Pharma companies like Cipla, mankind, GSK have visited the university. The highest package offer was around 2.5 lakh per annum in GSK, and the average package was around 1.8 lakh per annum offered from pharma companies. Most of the students get placed from on campus placements like 70-90% of students get good job roles and offers. My plan was to open my own retail pharmacy shop after completing the degree.
