Entrance Preview

The college takes online applications for admissions. I applied through the online portal. I had passed my CAT and got admission on the basis of my CAT score and then the performance on the GD/PI conducted by Akemi Business School.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am studying International Business. I have found the course to give a good academic foundation in my areas of interest namely, supply chain management, logistics, retail and operations in International Business.

Internships Opportunities

I am currently looking for internships in supply chain Management, logistics, retail and operations related to International Business. We have to find our internships on our own for summer training.

Placement Experience

The placements profile of the college has not looked very good although many of our seniors managed to find good jobs on their own.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since I am not from Maharashtra, I was not eligible for the scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. The place is a little far from Pune and hence we don't get to enjoy city life much. Apart from that, there is a good mix of people from across India and locals on the campus.

Hostel Facilities

I live in the boys' hostel. The hostel facilities are clean and up-to-the-mark.

External Expense: Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Exam Structure

The MBA program follows a semester wise pattern of exams.

Faculty members are satisfactory. Mostly we have visiting staff members for lectures. We have a lot of industry professionals visiting us every month.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

The placements opportunities are very good. mostly the whole batch gets placed. big companies like google and Microsoft come to campus and recruit a good number of students. it has a good average package in summers about 160000 per month.

KJ Somaiya - A lively campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!
