Remarks

The admission was online. You have to give the entrance exam.BDCET is the site where you find your application form. the minimum cutoff is 35%. I think there is no need to improve the admission process because it was good in it.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose civil engineering. we know that demand of civil engineering is more and more that's why I choose this course.Our strength of the class is 120 students in 1 class.Teaching method was good. Every 6 month there will be a semester exam.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Tata Steel, TRL Kiroski, Yazaki Motors, JSW Steel, L&T Construction vedant , Hindalco. These companies select students and under internship, they are in the training period and earn a stipend of around 15k per month.

Placement Experience

A student is eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester. Hindalco, SEPCO, TCS, Simplex, Vedanta, Bhusan Power & Steel, SPS Group, and many more companies visit the college to conduct placements. The highest package is 30000 - 40000 /month and the Average is 15000-20000/month is offered.

Fees and Financial Aid

The first is yearly and second is per semester. Per semester 1000 and yearly 50000.Scholarship and stipend also given.It was helpful for student who basically belong to poor one.There were many advantages you can profitable for students.

Campus Life

Yes, there is the availability of books and journals. There are indoor and outdoor games facilities and a common study room inside the hostel building. The life on the campus is excellent. Amenities of the classroom are sufficient benches are available, large room.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel looks like a resort, and the environment there is free from noise. Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls.The hostel is facilitated with an intercom and internet connection, 24 hours electricity and water supply provision with common water purifiers.Quality of meal is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

Big tech companies like ,amazon, samsung, Capgemini,minetree,infosis,adani wlvisit the campus. The highest package offered in 52 lpa The average package in KIIT is around 6-8lpa And the lowest package offered in 3 lpa. So overall you will have a nice exposure to tech and industrial space and can grab some decent placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.
