MANIT is an Institute of national importance It has a high reputation. The student ratio is not good. The faculty of MANIT is good and well qualified. Term exams are well structured and a regular one can get a good GPA if he/she studies well in the classroom.

Apart from the numerous high-end companies that the TPO Cell lines up for CSE students every year in MANIT, this year a major initiative was taken by the Entrepreneurship - Development Cell of the college by pitching one of the major companies in the field of Online Scheduling, Appointy. Informal recruitment was conducted in the form of an event, named Code Studio 1. o. The process was as simple as filling up a google form stating the details of programming languages you know and the projects performed in the field.

The first-year students are allotted Hostel No. 10 Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Bhavan. This hostel is divided into 4 blocks namely A-D. Each block has 32 dorm rooms, two bathroom complexes, two water coolers, an internal courtyard, a mess hall, two common rooms (which are used as per discretion of the hostel committee), a guest house with 12 rooms and attached bathrooms, one table tennis room and lots and lots of open space.
