The admission process takes place through the State exam ICET, one who qualified degree can opt for the ICET examination to get admission to the college. one would get an application form directly through the ICET portal and the application fees would be around 1000. The application dates vary from year to year. Reservation will be there according to the category. And the admission process is quite easy.
Course Curriculum Overview
Aurora is one best college in Hyderabad for MBA. it had an interesting journey. Since it started operations in 1995. New batches start at regular intervals and the details are posted on the website from time to time. MCA course was started in 2003. Aurora goes beyond the regular academics with an emphasis on practice. The qualification of the faculty is quite high, they all have done PhDs and some of them are doctorates. The teaching is great and the faculty is friendly with all the students and provides extra information. The exams are conducted every six months called semesters and in college, we have two internals per semester. I have to say passing the exam is not that easy without reading thoroughly.
Placement Experience
From the third semester, students will get placement opportunities. The companies that visit the college are Deloitte, Factset, H&R block, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Acuvate software solutions, Tech Mahindra, Infosys Sutherland, etc. The highest package is offered by Deloitte i.e 7.6 lakhs per annum. And the lowest is around 2.4 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
The students who get admission through ICET will get a scholarship from the state board of around 27000 per year and those who join through management can apply for a National scholarship if they have an eligible percentile. Aurora has good placements, companies like Deloitte, FactSet, Sutherland, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Axis Bank, H&R block, Acuvate software, and many others will come for drives. Students will also get internship opportunities and the stipend depends on the candidate's work. The average pack for placements would be around 3 lakhs per annum.
Campus Life
The college for freshers would start with the orientation event ARAMBH conducted for 7 days including all the fun activities. And ends with the SAMARTH event the convocation. In mid of the year, we have AALAP, ABHIDEYA, AURORA, and ANVESHANA events. The classrooms are good and spacious. Our college has indoor games as the campus has limited space.
