Excellent college for learning hospitality.

Eligibility is a minimum of 50% marks in 12th from any recognised board. The application form can be found on the official website of the college. The improvement that I want to see in the admission process would be a little bit more scrutiny.

I chose this course cause I'm passionate about hospitality. Per class, there are 40 students and one teacher which in my experience provides adequate focus on every student. The highly qualified and experienced faculty teaching method is interactive and the faculty don't mind revisiting an older topic the student is having trouble with.

All four departments(F&b, food production, housekeeping and front office) are available for internship opportunities and both international and domestic internship options are there for the students to avail themselves and get the kind of exposure they wish to get from the industry. 100% of students are provided internships at top brands.

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 4th semester and many renowned hotel brands come for campus placements namely TAJ, Oberoi, JW Marriott, ACCOR, etc. Close to 70% of students sit for campus placements and get selected and the rest of the students go for private ventures or higher studies. My plans after getting the degree would be to crack an interview and get placed at a great property.

If you have scored +90% marks in your class 12th then a 40k scholarship is provided to the student. Fees hike is mainly dependent on the market condition and economical fluctuations in the country. Yes, I got an international internship with a monthly stipend.

There are multiple annual fests organised by the college the most famous one would be the Young chef Olympiad in which students from 1 year can take part from all the campuses but not only that students from all over the world from different colleges take part. Monthly events are also held which make the college life a bit more interesting. The library at the campus is highly equipped with study material. The kitchen practical classes and F&b classes are equipped with the latest equipment. There isn't any playground on the campus but yes sports activities are carried out occasionally.

Topics in GD are generally what's going on in the world at that point of time. The interview is fairly easy and students don't have to take any stress about it. The process of admission is that you gotta give an online entrance exam named E-chat which is available on the official website of the college the exam contains questions from GK, common reasoning and English. After clearing that there will be a personal interview and then you'll be selected. A basic entrance exam helping guide would be sufficient to prepare for this exam.
