Remarks
There was a written exam followed by a group discussion and a personal interview. There was no reservation system. It was a one year PG diploma in Mass Communication and journalism. The application form can be found on its website. The application fees in 2015 cost around rs 1000.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members consisted of renowned journalists. I chose this course because I always had a love for writing. The college strength was only 30 students selected from all over India. The teaching method was amazing with lots of practical knowledge. we had monthly tests and one final exam. The monthly test itself was quite difficult to pass.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was Rs 3 lakh for a year. There was no scholarship opportunity nor any financial assistance was provided. There was campus placement. I couldn't sit for the campus placement due to medical issues. But the college provided internships with big media houses.
Campus Life
There was no annual fest. But we do have to submit a dissertation at the end of the year. The classroom has projectors. There were no sports and extracurricular activities on the campus. There was no such social group or clubs or website for students.
Interview Experience
There was a written test followed by a group discussion and a personal interview. The Group discussion topic was agriculture conditions in Bihar. Yes, I had prepared for the interview. There were 6 interviewers in the panel.
