You have to be at least 10th pass with minimum 55% marks to take admission in diploma and you have to give a Cet exam for admission to the diploma courses. Application and syllabus for exams can be found on dseu.ac.in and in this university 80% reservation is given to delhietes and additional scholarships are also available for everyone.

I chose this course because I want to make a career in the IT field and this is quite relevant to get me there. The faculty here is quite good and helping except for some teachers and all of them are well qualified with their own unique teaching methods. There are two main exams during a semester one mid sem and one end sem and you have to pass in both to avoid a back in any subject.

Students can take internships in the second year based on their liking and there are no students are placed yet because there been no pass out a batch from this university till now but the university has ties with some big companies like TCS, integreon, mindmap consultancy, Mercedes Benz, Hdfc bank, etc. After my diploma, I'm going to take campus placement if I'm able to and then I'll think about further studies later.

Fees for the diploma are relevant according to the course and the hike is also not that big per year. There is a specific scholarship only for diplomas also which are given to the top 500 rankers of the diploma's cet exam which gives 100,75 or 50% scholarship assistance based on your rank and there are many other scholarships also for everyone and every course and I haven't got a job yet since I'm currently studying in the college.

Books which are required for the course are available in the library and some specific books are also provided by the university and the Beginning of every semester. There is not a very big ground for sports and only volleyball and badminton are the sports which you will be able to play outdoors and indoors we have carrom and chess. Since this university started last year only that's why clubs and societies are still under formation and will be active soon.
